Arusha Departure
Private pickup from your Arusha lodging. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive southward along paved highways, crossing through Maasai plains dotted with traditional homesteads.
Mid-Morning (approx. 10:00)
Morning Game Exploration
Arrive at Tarangire National Park. After entry registrations, enter the park for an immediate game drive. Admire the colossal baobab trees and encounter your first herds of elephants walking ancient paths.
Midday (approx. 13:00)
River Overlook Picnic Lunch
Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at the Matete Picnic Site, a spectacular ridge-top overlook offering panoramic views of the Tarangire River where wildlife gathers.
Afternoon (approx. 14:00)
Afternoon River Drive
Embark on an afternoon game drive tracing the riverbanks, seeking lions, leopards, impalas, zebras, giraffes, and waterbucks gathering to drink.
